Pamela Anderson, M.A.C VIVA GLAM V spokesperson, urges the world to GET TESTED for HIV in a radio public service announcement premiering National HIV Testing Day.

40 million people are infected with HIV/AIDS worldwide and 95% of those infected don't know it.

HIV/AIDS is a preventable disease, but if you don't know your HIV status you can unknowingly pass it along to others. Our greatest defense against the spread of HIV is to know our status and the only way to know is to GET TESTED!

Anderson States in the Public Service Announcement "More People Tested Means Less People Infected," and "Know Your Status To Help Stop the Spread of HIV/AIDS"



WORLD AIDS DAY 2005 IN SINGAPORE

The Theme for this year's World AIDS Day is "STOP AIDS : Keep the Promise " and this theme will remain till 2010. Its the firs time UNAIDS (Joint United Nations Programme on AIDS) has handed over the responsibility for World AIDS Day to an independent organization known as The World AIDS Campaign.
