YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMME

The Youth Programme was unofficially started in 2000 with the initiation of a series of talks at schools island-wide in a programme. At present, a joint effort, the Be Aware Be Safe Programme, with Standard Chartered Bank, will carry on the outreach effort at schools.

The present aim of the Youth Outreach Programme is to serve a vacuum in the HIV/AIDS educational outreach to youth here - the out-of-school. Little is known and much help is needed to address this group of young people. Chart the history of the outreach efforts to teenagers here in Singapore with some of our press clippings and photos!
